The 999 Journey

The 999 Diet is a journey of self-realization. It’s never easy to change your entire lifestyle, but we know you can do it. So many people have benefited from this epic journey into a better, healthier lifestyle just by sticking with it that we know you will too. However, to keep your head in the game, so to speak, remember we have established the following criteria to keep this life-altering process enjoyable. It’s hardly effortless, but nothing worth achieving is easy. Ready. Set. Go.

1 Prep Your Mind
In order to be successful throughout this process you have to be in a strong mental state. Although this is easier said than done, there are a few things that can help you keep your mind sharp, focused, and energized when setting out to reach your goal. A large majority of 999 Diet practitioners who have achieved success and have continued to live this amazing lifestyle tell us that music is a huge motivator. Create a playlist of inspirational music while you work on making your juices. Use the prep time to listen to it and pump yourself up for the future you. Another huge motivator is self-affirmations.Write down why you are losing this weight. Write down a list of attributes you wish to attain after you complete this program. Write down how you want people to view the new you. Post this list up in a place you frequent such as your bathroom mirror and repeat them out loud every morning. It may seem a little silly, but this actually hypnotizes your sub-conscious mind into believing these things into reality. Many of our practitioners have done this as well and report amazing results.
2 One Day at a Time
Looking too far in the future can be daunting. When you sit down to read a book, you don’t look at all the pages ahead. Instead, you start on page one and keep reading until you’ve reached the end. You look at the page in front of you, not at the amount of reading ahead of you. Do the same thing with the 999 Diet. Look at each day in front of you and take it one day at a time.
3 See yourself Change
999 Diet practitioners often find that tracking their progress is one of the best ways to stay motivated throughout the entire process. When you see your body changing, you won’t want to falter on your journey. Begin by taking a before picture of yourself. Take a new picture of yourself every nine days. Also, track your progress by recording your weight loss in numbers – take a before and after weight number every nine days. When you begin to see how well you’re doing, you won’t want to deviate from the course you’ve set out for yourself. The only thing on your mind will be to continue achieving your goals.
4 Accept The Challenge
The 999 Diet is far from easy and we don’t pretend it is – neither should you. Yet, when you look at the journey ahead of you as a challenge that you can win, then it becomes much easier to stay focused. We know you’re ready to accept the challenge.
5 Adapt
You don’t have to strictly follow everything in the 999 Diet – make it your own. For example, if you are allergic to a particular ingredient or you just plain don’t like it, you can replace it with something of similar nutritional benefits. Be creative and have fun.
6 Reinvent
You wouldn’t be entering into this program if you wanted to stay the same, so reinvent yourself. Be the person you want to be. Be the new you. Write down a list of attributes the new you has – how does that new person act, who does that new person hang out with, what is the success of that new person. Once you come up with who you want to be, you can begin taking the steps to enter into the life of that person you just created.
7 Reach Your Goals
Before you start on the 999 Diet create a list of goals. Write down how much weight you want to lose, how many sizes you want to drop, and what you want to look like at the end of 99 days and set out to reach those goals. If you follow this program exactly, you WILL reach them.
8 Plan Ahead
Don’t just live out each day without a solid understanding of what you want to accomplish. Instead, plan each day out the minute you wake up. If you know you’re going to have a meeting at work that day where they will be serving a smorgasbord of doughnuts and other junk food, plan ahead so that you won’t be tempted to eat it. In other words, prepare your mental state for the day. Spread your juices out so that you get an energy boost at least every two hours and give yourself at least two hours to ease your body without juice at the end of the day so that you have a phenomenal night’s sleep.
9 KISS
“Keep it Simple Silly.” Simplicity is the core of the 999 Diet – things don’t have to be complicated for you to see the results you want. That’s our goal, and we think it should be yours too. Remember, life is complicated enough as it is, make sure to keep it simple so you don’t get overwhelmed. You can do it regardless of what kind of day you’re having – good or bad.

I felt kind of silly writing self affirmations at first but it actually really helped. It help me focus on what I wanted to do and why, and whenever I felt my motivation slip, I would look back at that paper. It must have worked, because I lost 120 pounds in two years.

UUUghh food at work is the worst. Whenever I have the best intentions there are donughts for breakfast and cupcakes. They should outlaw it!

  3. avatar Ruthie says:

I totally have the same problem! I just tell myself that everyone’s touched everything that’s out there with their dirty hands and that helps me not eat it. Stay strong everyone!

I agree it is a challenge but anything worth doing is a challenge. If it were easy everyone would do it and everyone would be thin but they aren’t. You have to work for what you want.
