Be Nice
People tell us not to think too much about ourselves, but it’s ALL about you. After all, who knows you like you know yourself? So make sure to do something nice for yourself everyday – something that makes you feel good. Go to a movie, make a trip to the beach, hang out with a good friend that makes you feel good about yourself.

Yoga/Pilates
Joining a yoga, Pilates class, or something similar will help you control your level of stress. You will become more flexible, physically toned, and calm. This will help with your digestion and improve your blood flow.

Massage
Relax those muscles by heading over to a sauna or masseuse to release all of that stress. Doing this once a week will help you relax so your body can burn more calories.

Well, not exactly the type of shots you were hoping for, but they are much better for you. Wheat grass is the mother of all greens. Rich with enzymes, protein, and almost every vitamin you can think of, wheat grass shots will kick start your immune system, boost your metabolism, help your digestive system, and keep you looking and feeling younger.

Keep it Raw
Between intervals make sure to primarily eat raw fruits and vegetables. This will ensure faster natural digestion and help out with your body’s natural detoxing. So stay away from any commercially prepped food such as microwave meals and other foods that contain preservatives and chemicals.

Boost
Consuming produce such as sea vegetables and nuts will boost your metabolism naturally. Foods such as celery, asparagus, broccoli, and grapefruit help you burn more calories by the simple act of digesting it. Spirulina powder and bee pollen (even including them in your juices) will also help your body metabolize food faster, which will make sure you don’t feel hungry even after a small meal.

Control
Keeping control of yourself may seem easier said than done, but it’s not too difficult if you consider keeping control of yourself as a set of circumstances. For example, “the best mirror is in the eyes of your friends”. Only surround yourself with positive, supportive people, making sure to get rid of those that would criticize and perpetuate any negativity. By controlling your situation and your circumstances, you control your outcome.

    Hey Guys – I just want to say that I think these are great. One thing I think is really important if you live in a city is to get away sometimes. It really helps center you and get you focused

    Keeping control of my cravings is definitely the hardest for me. I really like eating nasty snack food. I should just try to lock my cabinet. Or just throw everything away.

    I do Bikram Yoga which really helps with breathing.

    I have lost 85 pounds this year on the program and trust me excersie is cruicual not only here but all the time. but you dont have to run or do trialathons. I walk. but i make sure i do it every day and for at least a half hour. I think its worked for me.

    It’s very hard for me to stay away from processed foods and from microwave dinners and stuff for lunch, I’ve been eating them for years and I’m so busy that seems like all I have time for. But I’m going to try! I know it’s worth it. Wish me luck!
